Protip: bull sharks can survive in fresh water and can be occasionally be found in any body of water that connects to the sea. This includes Lake Pontchartrain and the rivers on the Northshore. One was pulled from the Red River near Marksville years ago. Another was caught in the Mississippi as far north as Illinois.

Went to that beach and area approximately a month and a half ago. My Labrador played in the water for a couple hours. Girl don’t know how lucky she is.

They seem to bite first and back off while their prey weakens from blood loss before coming in to feed.

You are welcome douche bag, I said Maine doesn’t have a Large seal/sea lion population not that they weren’t there! Compared to other seal populations Maine’s population is not large even if they are a common sight

Shark Expert on Martha McCallum said GWs roam the waters all the way up into Canada. He said there is a resurgence in numbers of GWSs and seals and therefore where the later is found the former will likely be. But it is true, while there are numerous occurrences of GWs spotted in Massachusetts' water, this is the first attack in Maine. She was swimming only 30 yards off the shoreline.
