Every time Louisiana gets something nice, the demographics fricking ruin it. Rinse and repeat.

Why don't you just say you don't like black people instead of dancing around it?

Are you a black dude?

Black folks need a place to have fun as well.

I went recently and it wasn’t bad. Didn’t see anything out if the usual. Had teens there but no one acting like an idiot.
Main Event is a good idea as it will draw people. Thought is that you get families to go there and they will stop at the mall before/after going. If they have security around the place it won’t hurt the mall.
I read an article a while back that says many malls are going the mom and pop route ad they attract more business in some markets.
A lot of the national chains (Beookestone) have closed every store, can’t blame Mall of Louisiana for that.
Better to have a mom and pop store over empty space

I don’t know if Mingo is black but I’ve come to the conclusion that he’s definitely gay. So in other words he is a minority

Mall leases suck major donkey balls that will end up breaking the Mom & Pops.

I don’t know about gay but his posts give me a mental image of someone that graduated from Southern.

You are right. And I hate that I contribute by never going to its eventual demise. With or without me, the closed-in mall is done for.
I try so damn hard to never go to the Mall of LA that I order my dress slacks, bluejeans, ties, and anything else via Amazon. Sorry...it is easier and the riff raff you mentioned does not show up in the packages. My better half every so often will go to Macy's and then text me about a sale and then I say "Sure. Get me a pair." That is the extent of it.
The last time I was at the mall was about 10 months ago. I do not know what annoyed me more: food court trashiness (here I mean the amount of food left on tables when there are trashcans everywhere) or the constant beckons of the perfume and bazaar folks.

Definitely could. I don’t blame the mall on that. I blame the business owner for taking a bad deal. No one is forcing them to lease space in a mall.
If the deal is good though it could help a business with foot traffic that might not find them otherwise.
Posted on 1/6/19 at 10:18 am to ProfFrink
If only that foot traffic bought anything.

Interesting you equate the behavior he described with black people

This phenomenon is why indoor malls have fallen out of favor with developers.
Open air malls are now In vogue.
It’s amazing the lengths normal people have to go to just to avoid or work around the trash people. The trash kills malls, restaurants, neighborhoods, schools, entire sections of cities.

Is Perkins Rowe still a thing? I remember around 2010 or so this board would always have something negative to say about it.

I haven’t been to Perkins Rowe in a coon’s age but some California Pizza Kitchen sounds good.
