I’d think it has more to do with the dad not being around. Hence the term “daddy issues.” Some women will do anything to get the attention from men because their father wasn’t around or present. And the easiest arrow in their quiver to get what they want is sex.

That’s what this story should really be about.

Yep.

I had alcohol issues, but I cant remember one time I blacked out or put myself in dangerous spots.

Alcohol doesnt change behavior, it just drops inhibitions. You still have to self govern.

What if the guy in the wheelchair was drunk and told the other guys to throw him off, and even taunted one of them by calling him a pussy for not doing it?

Someone could hzz as be slipped something in her drink.BUT I’m sure she intended to go out and get drunk that night and probably hook up with some guy.

Madison could not consent due to her inebriated state. Debatable

Not really. We aren’t talking about a 50 something year old man who drank a case a beer every day after work for 30 years blowing a .319.

This is a 19 year old girl who had already fallen down in the bar, was so drunk she couldn’t remember where she lived, and had passed out before she was raped. Not to mention the men on video talking about how ridiculously drunk she was and “she’s fixing to get raped”.

That is something that has been posted many times. He is just mad that his assumptions about the case is wrong.

I dont know to what extent of the law they need to pay, but they do need to pay. Terrible decisions have consequences

How about we have a trial and ....you know...get all the facts out in front of a jury to determine guilt or innocence ...before talking about their need to pay.

This. None of us really know what happened in the bar or once in the car.. I believe she was taken advantage of to some degree.

I would say her drinking and being blitzed out of her mind lead to whatever happened in the car then her death.

Look, its a sad situation. People do dumb shite when they are in college and I am sure a lot of people on this board would hate to be judged strictly based on what they did in college

She was underage right? So the bar that was serving her should hold some of the responsibility right? I would assume she had to drink a lot to get as drunk as she seemed to be in the videos I remember watching. Or it might not have taken much to get her drunk, either way I am sure the defense wants the jury to think the bar is responsible..

I don't remember the details of this, but I do remember watching some videos. Why did they drop her off? Whatever that reason is, if it was due to something she was responsible for then they will argue that's what lead to her death. Its a lot more complex than a girl getting into a car with 4 men, they raped her then dropped her off where she was then hit by a car which caused her to die.

Drinking doesnt make you stupid, it makes you brave enough to cross barriers you would not otherwise have crossed.

End of discussion on that.

No, I just look at all the former sluts in my school to see how their families are doing.

It doesn't make you stupid, it just makes you do stupid shite.

Like they say, a sober man's thoughts is a drunk man's words. You might think about it sober, but you take it a step further when you drink.
