Recently with the Miles/Alleva shitshow I have had two people (in unrelated situations) tell me that they have been lurking T-D for LSU-related news. Both are females, one is a IRL 7 (think Valerie Bertinelli), the other is a very sweet soul (think angry lesbian truck driver). I played dumb (a real stretch, I know!) and acted like I wasn't familiar with the site but asked them if they were members, they both answered in the negative. One said that forums are "a guy thing" and the other said she didn't want strangers to know about her.
Obviously it's about 95% male as to regular posters here, I'm thinking there's a big group of unrepresented women folks out there lurking and reading our stupid-arse drivel.
May God have mercy on their souls. They can't downvote this thread but as registered T-D voters, YOU can!

Actually it's intriguing to know many more folks than we interact with here see this stuff we post. This message is the point of my post.

On Saturday there were a shite load of people who had a small post count compared to their sign on date (lurkers also) that we're starting threads.

Very few women read TD and even fewer post.
There might be 4-8 women posters, tops.
It's just not a "woman" thing.
The Rant probably gets more views than any other board and that's sad b/c most of the posters there couldn't pour piss out of a boot with the directions on the heel.

I have always found this fascinating as well...actually, when you check who is on, you see that there are typically about 9 or 10 lurkers for every member who is on at any time...
