Did you know lobster was a trash food in the early days of America? I think the Maine prisons had a rule of no more than 2 meals involving lobster a week to prevent riots.

Best crustacean is Stone Crab, which was also a trash food 100 years ago. Only blacks and poor whites ate it and you could trek to the Keys and get 25 pounds for pennies.
