I think many people in LA or from LA likely personally knows someone affected from this.
You got family or friends affected, I would say donate to them first. You would know exactly where your money went.
Otherwise, I'm sure there are plenty of general flood funds you can pick and choose to donate to that are raising money for various needs/populations.
Red Cross isn't horrible...but I'm sure there many more local organizations you could find and donate to and know that your money went to LA.
