Mostly maintenance type stuff. Replace old wood and siding, repair and reglaze old wood windows, paint the house, new carpet in the bedrooms, etc. I'm not going all out, but just some basics so I can start showing it.

I want a little country house with a nice lot. But to get that, I would probably need to buy old house and I'm reluctant to get into anything that might have hidden stuff or a lot of maintenance. I have no idea where to find what I want. LP and AP makes a horrendous commute daily for me. Thought about a condo, but not sure I want people living so close to me.

I don't know what I'm going to do..

i don't know either. so many things are up the in the air right now that i can't make any concrete plans. i do know that i can't keep up the commute for very much longer.

i would like a place where i can maybe... "live off the land" more. some chickens, a big vegetable garden, a dairy cow i dunno...
