I was dozing off to sleep at about 9pm and my GF got up and said "it's raining really bad right now"
I said "go back to bed, it's nothing"
She walks to the living room and says "J, there is water coming in from the outside on the sliding glass door"
I hear someone banging on the front door, open it up and it was a flood into our apt

The drainage canal by Xaiver and Costco is about 2' from the edge. Looks like a damn river flowing through there.
