When the policeman pulled me over, he pulled them over, too, and when he realized I was telling the truth - they got picked up by other cops but I still got a ticket - because I was speeding
So I go to contest the ticket on my court date but the judge says that’s not allowed and pleading not guilty is a misdemeanor - and I was thrown into jail for pleading not guilty and not paying the ticket
Eventually the judge (his name was arceneaux in Terrebonne parish) got in a lot of trouble for that bc I’m not the only one that happened to, and they finally threw the wrong person in jail for nothing.
I was 19 at the time - not the most fun thing, and wouldn’t recommend it

About 2 hours or so IIRC. I love me some Newport Beach but it's been a couple years since I've been there.
