Apparently power is out in a big section, so streetlights are out. Add the random arbitrary blocking off of 1 lane of Jefferson from almost corporate to past essen (in addition to the clusterfrick roadwork from drusilla past bluebonnet), and I may just sleep at work tonight. It took me 50 minutes Monday to get less tan 3 miles.

I was over by your place that day a few months back when all the lights in the city's major intersections went out, and I was royally freaking out because the roads were all stopped for miles. Haha. Went into my appt, and everything was normal when I got out.
No rain here today by my office or loss of power, but our home generator kicked on at like 3pm yesterday and didn't turn off until 7:30ish. What's weird is it was just us and the next door neighbor without it.
I glanced outside at one point, and Entergy was sloshing around way in the back of my yard in full slickers. Honestly was surprised they got there so quickly for just 2 houses during an active storm.
