Just got recruited to join a new, high level team forming despite me swearing I would stick to only 3 teams next year. Couldn’t pass up the chance, though, because I would be by far the weakest player on the team. I’m used to recruiting “growth players” not being one and can’t pass up the opportunity to play with much better players and learning from them.

I’m too old to compete that hard 4 days a week now.

The older you get, the more important select skills become. I can still win with pure athleticism but those days are slipping away fast. I’m going to have to learn to play smarter instead of harder.
