I just trimmed my bush for the very first time ever (and topped it too).

Full disclosure, I have no clue wtf I'm doing besides watching some videos and reading some articles. I'm learning though (maybe).

I messed this thing up from the beginning. It was really just out of curiosity and boredom that I started them. Had 2 plants in the same pot at first. Taking one out and moving the other definitely shocked it some. Should have did that when they were a little younger, but I didn't know what I was doing and mostly still don't.

Just bought a bunch of new pots and soil. Legally, Cali says I can grow 6 without a medical card. I think I'm going to do that after I see this first one through.

I've actually really enjoyed doing this. It's like a little science experiment for each plant and it's cool to see all the little critters they attract.

I spent 4 months working in Japan with a guy that spent all of his free time reading aboot hydroponics. He gave the company his 2 minutes notice when we were flying home. I saw him the next year in Tacoma. he had rented a warehouse in downtown Tacoma, and began farming for a living.

He said his first crop was 42 lbs. He sold 41 to one guy. This was still fairly dangerous and illegal in 1990.

We have a basil, a corn plant, a spider lily, 2 lantanas, an aloe vera and a Hawaiian something that we are managing to keep alive. I feel like I have nailed gardening now
