Same size unit, tech told me that the culprit was a weak capacitor on the fan within the furnace. Thats been replaced and it is running right now

unlike pj, who has a whole house/trailer backup ac, i have a window unit in my garage that i can easily mount on one of my den windows in a crisis. at least it keeps the den nice & cool.

I picked up two portable units right away when it went down and they work to cool down a room but having to go between the two rooms in the house was like walking through a sauna.

Does it look like I was fricking joking????? My step son is at the ER with severe Covid symptoms.... he’s only 44 with zero other health issues....
