I am not traveling. My baby is coming here to spend time with us.
Took the turkey out to thaw. Will thaw a rack of ribs and a package of breasts tonight, then fire up the smoker tomorrow.
I made all of the stuff for cornbread dressing, and it will be thawed tomorrow night.
Today, a little soup and a few cookies. Coffee.

this is my plan for today, since it's cold wet and raining here.
make the lasagne (our nontraditional tday entree) and freeze it until Sunday.
cut up all the meats for jambalaya for t-day at work on thursday
and make chicken and sausage g-bo for dinner tonight.
and it all starts with a roux, I know, but more importantly, wine.
the wine is starting now.
then I can say, "oh sorry, cant do that, can't go there...I've been drinking"
