Back in the day every Catholic school had a basketball team and a boxing team. I was gravitationally challenged so basketball was out, however the best cardio EVER is boxing (just do not compete or spar, but do the training).
On the flip side it is says somewhere where gardening is better that the gym. Something about digging in the dirt in our DNA and gyms are not.
