clue what you are talking about but your writing is second to none. Cheers sir
Aw, shucks. What kind of stuff do you like?
I’ve got hundreds upon hundreds of pieces.
I’m in the process of splitting them up into sort of concept album ideas and gathering artists together to fill in the pieces I don’t have.
I’ve got a bunch of heavier stuff on war, I’ve got sea shanties.
Most recently I’ve been working on this desert fantasy sort of feel called Tales Beyond Nabimbu.
It’s a disease really. A booger gets in my brain and I just write what comes.

Hmmmm…okay here’s a sea shanty I did the other day.
Think kind of the cadence of Scarborough Fair
Meat And Bone
Well the Grey Maiden put out from Gobari Bay,
With a fortune in hold it was anchors aweigh,
But she’d never make her port in Yoshen,
cruel fate waited for her out on the ocean,
Was a week out from shore when they lost all the wind,
Stuck there in the doldrums while rations grew thin,
With nary a seabird and no sign of land,
When you run out of grub, gold’s as worthless as sand,
Whoa-oh-oh, if the wind doesn’t blow,
Can’t go on nor can they go home,
Whoa-oh-oh, and the ocean she knows,
Well a man’s nothing but meat and bone,
On the table each dusk, there was less meal than plate,
Well they tried to catch fish ‘til they’d eaten the bait,
They had plenty o’ water and grog for their thirst,
But the pangs in their bellies would only grow worse,
Whoa-oh-oh, if the wind doesn’t blow,
Can’t go on nor can they go home,
Whoa-oh-oh, and the ocean she knows,
Well a man’s nothing but meat and bone,
Well the salt pork ran out right along with hard tack,
And they still didn’t feel any breeze at her back,
Then they ate all the cats and feasted on the rats,
But there wasn’t much left, ‘cept for them after that…
Whoa-oh-oh, if the wind doesn’t blow,
Can’t go on nor can they go home,
Whoa-oh-oh, and the ocean she knows,
Well a man’s nothing but meat and bone,
Left out on the waves, the brave captain and crew,
But with the passing of days, many men became few,
Now upon the Grey Maiden one man sails alone,
Still hungry it seems, but he can never go home,
Whoa-oh-oh, if the wind doesn’t blow,
Can’t go on nor can they go home,
Whoa-oh-oh, and the ocean she knows,
Well a man’s nothing but meat and bone,
Yeah a man’s
Nothing but
Meat and boooooooooone.

As always, fantastic. I think you should do a screenplay off of OT poster comments

This one is harder,
About the siege of vienna
Womb of the Dark
Vs 1:
Pickaxe and shovel in their hands,
They light a lonely lamp,
As the sappers then descend,
Into the darkness and the damp,
Down the tunnel they have carved,
These Suffocating earthen halls,
Upon a mission of the damned,
To place a mine beneath the walls,
Chorus:
So down they go,
Into a place that’s never seen the sun,
They march below,
A battlefield that rings with firing guns,
Deeper and deeper,
As dark as the grave,
And if they fall there,
They cannot be saved,
Pray to their gods,
Every time they embark,
Peril or victory,
Down,
In the womb of the dark,
Vs 2:
Brave soldiers from the other side,
Digging tunnels of their own,
In this race against the mine,
Burrowing to parts unknown,
Knowing well that if they fail,
bombs will bring down ancient walls,
And if the enemy prevails,
The city then shall surely fall,
Chorus:
So down they go
Into a place that’s never seen the sun,
They march below,
A battlefield that rings with firing guns,
Deeper and deeper,
As dark as the grave,
And if they fall there,
They cannot be saved,
Pray to their gods,
Every time they embark,
Peril or victory,
Down,
In the womb of the dark,
Then comes the ringing of steel upon steel,
Shovels colliding in this cursed place,
Dirt crumbles down to before them reveal,
Men turned to moles now are stood face to face,
Now the centuries have passed,
And the sappers are forgotten,
In a grave that no one knows,
Ages since their flesh has rotten,
None were left to sing the song,
How they carved out their own tomb,
And fell fighting in the dark,
They rest together in Earth’s
womb.
Chorus:
So down they go
Into a place that’s never seen the sun,
They march below,
A battlefield that rings with firing guns,
Deeper and deeper,
As dark as the grave,
And if they fall there,
They cannot be saved,
Pray to their gods,
