After three times it becomes a trend, which is what I based my decision to go with NIU on.
FSU lost to VT, had to come back and beat Samford and then Syracuse put it in them pretty bad last week. Based on the body language of the team last week, it seems like they just didn't care. With that said, this weekend is going to either be a "finally getting shite in motion" week or a "this is just who we are" weekend.. So I am going to go ahead and bet on NIU.

While there might be a backstory that continues, you can't watch one season without having to watch other seasons to grasp what is going on.
The Ozarks season 2 is more of an extension of season 1 than a completely seperate season.
Homeland for example, each season they are somewhere else and you can see an episode playing and you immediately know that it's an episode from a certain season.
Thanks for clarifying that, Chris. I was certain that when series had season 1,2, 3, etc. they were simply replaying the one season over and over again, and just putting a different number after "season". Appreciate your help in understanding this crazy TV season web of confusion.
