if you throw out the west ark game, which i think you have to. they are 17th in rush attempts/game or 58% of snaps - 18th. they are 102 in pass attempts per game or 42% of snaps - 116th in the country. so again, very run heavy offense.

if you look at it like an accountant they have the 7th most sacks in the country with 12.0. the highest sack rate 19% of opponent pass attempts in the two games excl. w/ark of course.

so yes, run heavy team and the pass rush should present a challenge for lsu.

You cant just "throw out a game"

That like saying if you throw out their longest run of the season was a 55 yard run the #1 RB would only be averaging 3rd's per carry...

And they still have more receiving yards and TD's than rushing yards and TD's

Here I'll help you

you absolutely can, same as you would throw out the lsu-grambling. it isnt worth noting if half the team doesnt play half the game

probably not, college is often defined by explosive plays, either achieving them or giving them up. however it is probably worth noting arkansas is pitiful at explosive plays (see run heavy offense), and lsu is very strong at both achieving and giving up

quote:

only be averaging 3rd's per carry...

their offense is not efficient no, even with the explosives, they are pitiful in run efficiency, that doesnt change that fact that on a per snap basis they do run at a much higher rate than the national avg
