I have been getting Maxwell House Black silk down here. The only place I know of that carries Community is Publix and it is aboot $10 per lb. I can afford it but consider it a personal sin against God to pay that much for a fricking lb. of coffee.

I wish we could buy Nacka tush meat pies down here. They are a bargain at any price.

That is about 8 bucks here for that red bucket.. It's what, 34ozs. or such? That's about 4 bucks a lb. I can't imagine any coffee being worth much more. But then again, I'm a cretin.

I would try it. I didn't start drinking coffee until 8 years ago so I am not a coffee snob. My main requirement is a dark roast.

There is a place in Metairie called Laughing Buddha that has a kinda farmers market pickup 3 times a week and they carry it. It is awesome. Well priced, $10 for a 12oz bag.

I never made it to the Big Island but was on Maui in my mid 30's. I was not a coffee drinker yet, so King Kamehameha could have offered me a cup and I would have said no.

I did always like the way it smelled though.

We ate some dark chocolate covered Kona beans and started hallucinating soon afterwards it was so strong.
