A friend of mine had an uncle with a house on Napoleon a few blocks behind Superior. We would always go there for the uptown parades... big arse old house with several bathrooms, he'd have a bar set up, it was the life.

thats pretty much where we set up on Napoleon on the Neutral Ground then we also are in with a group of families on an apt on St Charles...we split our time going back and forth

Thanks y’all. He fell and injured his back last week, went to the hospital, they did some stuff and sent him home. Then he was hurting so bad they sent him back and then the doctors found some more stuff wrong, sent him to rehab. We went to see him just the other day and he was doing better, in good spirits. My lady went by on Saturday and saw him and he was sleeping but ok.
Then her mom was with him last night. This morning they found him unresponsive. Did CPR and rushed him back to the hospital. Kept restarting his heart. 4 times. Finally they let us back to see him. Watched him die on the operating table as they tried cpr one last time.
Now there’s just all the funeral bullshite to deal with
