I’m having trouble with my post op instructions. I swear the nurse told me not to eat for 24 hours but their online instructions don’t say that. And I’m hungry

Make sure and follow their instructions. Smoking isn’t the only way to get a dry socket I do believe. And trust me, you don’t want one.

You DEF want to eat if you're taking pain meds... just nothing with tiny bits that will get into the extraction site. Something cool/soft would be ideal... like pudding.
