Any device we use, that has a microphone picks up noises around us. You ever heard a song you didn't know the name of? You can ask your phone the name of a song playing (if the music is coming from another device obviously)and it will tell you. Plus, it's no different than typing in information into your computer.. It just uses that data to "customize" certain features.

you know whats scary....sometimes when I get in my truck to go somewhere the maps app will automatically open and will tell me where Im going, the route to take and how long it will take me to get there without me opening the app or plugging in my destination

It freaks me out when it knows if I’m going to work or to the barn on weekends. The rest of the stuff is pretty much on schedule.
