that's a shame, I'm in the o&g pipeline industry as well and it's starting to show here now in some of the divisions in certain parts of the country.

I highly doubt you would get fired or laid off...what would be the point of her even telling you that you are cleared to come back to work. They'd have probably just said to come in for a discussion or something if they were going to let you go.

I really don't think they'd trick me. And I've been waiting on clearance from health services. I emailed her last night and she replied this morning that she just got the OK from her Dr.

Yea, we are starting to feel it on this side as well. Hopefully it's just the normal cycle and it all gets back soon. Lot's of families are about to feel it.
