I assumed around $500. The only thing she needs is a new tail light. That little scratch on her bumper is not affecting the van's aesthetics. The side is completely smashed in and rusted

Well I emailed her my insurance card. That was before I realized how minor the damage was and that I could pay for it

I'm on my dad's insurance and he told me to get my own policy when I hit that parked car a few months ago. But he forgot about it or got over it

either have your insurance company work it out or tell her you want 2 quotes from 3 different body shops and you will pay half the average of all 3

$500 sounds about right, i guess...is it too late to tell her that it wasn't your fault and to go ahead and call the police if she doesn't accept $500?

My dad's insurance paid it and he wasn't happy and told me to get my car switched over to my name and get my own policy. And I'd have to register it in Texas and get a Texas license I'm sure

I told her to send that quote to my insurance if she wanted to commit insurance fraud

neither the police or Paige can determine who's fault it was....Ultimately, the drivers' insurance company decides each driver's liability.

Just ordered Chicken Tom Kah and Vegetable/Tofu Pad Thai from Duang Tawan.

My voice is gone from the weekend, and I need some warm comfy food in me.

if you hit a parked car then it was a property damage claim and he didnt have to pay a deductible. I guess he's pissed bc he's tired of paying high premiums bc you cant drive.

Yep. So. I've been on it forever. He has good coverage with a low deductible. Why get my own policy if I don't have to?
