I mean, really, it screams desperate to me when you have nothing in common/no compatibility with someone and they want to date you. Makes me think they want to date all women... the first who will say yes.

I paid for Jones and I's 2nd date.
Actually, I was used to barely dropping any money when eating sushi because I was a noob and got rolls. Dude ordered drinks and assloads of sashimi and stuff.
I had sticker shock on that date
Story time: Jones actually told me this on our first "date". One time he took a random home from the bar. When he went to drop her off at her car the next day, she goes "You don't have to call. I know you're not gonna anyway. Got what ya wanted."
Just to prove her wrong (he didn't even like her), he took her to Ruffino's the next day.

Bingo. Went on a date with a guy from a class in college. He was really quiet and I realized we had nothing in common very quickly. We had dinner and went to a movie (one of the Bourne movies) and barely talked, yet by the end of the night he said I'm the kind of girl he wants to introduce to his mother. I couldn't get inside my house fast enough. It was really hard getting him to understand I wasn't interested.
