I mean it's one thing if they both decide "yeah neither one of us will have anything to do with that site anymore". But if she was saying "No, you cannot post there anymore, I forbid it"...that's kinda messed up. Yeah this place breaks people down...but only if they let it. Look at all the other couples on here that don't let it.
I just don't think dictating to a SO what they can or cannot do is ever a good sign of a healthy relationship.

I think asking a SO to do something out of respect for your relationship is perfectly reasonable. Hell, I'm one of the most lenient people you can date. I let Jones grab my friends' boobs (bare skin) and all. But if a partner asks someone to do something out of respect, and it is a reasonable request, I don't think it is controlling at all.
Sure, if he was like "NO I WILL NOT!" and she forced him anyway, that's one thing. But that is highly unlikely that was the case.
You've talked about sacrifices you'd be willing make for B before, and those were because you love/respect him. And I'm sure if he had a valid reason (like he posted here) to ask y'all to quit, I find it hard to believe you'd say no way to him. And I would totally respect that.
