Some guy when i first joined started a thread about daily dress shoes saying Rockport wasn't very good and how it is for old people. He was bashed to shite and downvoted into oblivion.

Your threads par for the course in a work environment imo. If out on the town, will attract a classier lady.

like how someone asked you why you are dressed up and you tried to play it off like you don't consider wearing a tie as "dressed up".
well considering I'm wearing a $40 watch, less than $100 shoes, just chinos and I put a tie on probably 5-6 mornings a week when I wake up (I collect ties and will even get them from goodwill), yeah I don't consider it as "dressed up"... sorry Wheels, some people don't like looking like a slob.

If I'm wearing a tie I'm "dressed up", and the only time I'm wearing a tie is if I'm wearing a suit and that's either for a wedding or a funeral. frick wearing a tie just for the hell of it.

I have a few that I seem to gravitate more to others. I could probably look for some pics in my PB account of them if you care...

But I have a couple ties and bowties from Nola Contour that I bid on at a fundraiser and also some bought as gifts from there that I really like and are nice quality

Well aren't you guys FB friends? That would be a great place for that.

Where would you go to get zipper fixed in a pair of show boots?

Different strokes

I enjoy looking presentable. And one of my forms of income involves me selling myself and booking via casual meetings, so there is that as well.

i applied and interviewed for a position recently that I didn't realize at the time but would require me to wear scrubs daily, Dont know how I feel about that, but seems convenient and quick

I would be more worried about having to empty bed pans and give sponge baths
