True story. Last year, when Louisiana flooded, my best friend (before anyone says it, yes, believe me, I have a best friend) started the "Cajun Navy". We were at my house playing poker (learned how to play this in high school, got better throughout college, and now play weekly and am pretty good). I was holding a "full house". He was bluffing me with a "pair of 9's". If I recall correctly, spades (not quite sure about spades, so don't quote me on that). I said to him "I think you're bluffing". He replied "Hey, I think I'm gonna start rescuing people in the flood (at the time, we weren't aware of any rescues taking place). I said "what are you going to call yourself". He said "Cajun Navy". I said "Do you even have a boat"? He said, "no but I've always wanted one".

He ends up asking me if I want to be his "first mate". (I could do it. Most people don't realize, I can swim really well. And f*ck too, so let's quash that rumor. My penis has always worked, bitches). I replied, "I wish I could, but I have to work tomorrow". So he starts the "Cajun Navy" and I end up agreeing to do their books and file annual "tax returns".

Anybody else got any good flood stories? Let's hear them.
