Got a flyer on my door about all the homes for sale in the area.
Happen to see the last house we rented on there. a-hole former landlord had given us this sob story about his parents moving back from Iran and needing their home back so they can live there, blah, blah, blah. All lies apparently.

That's a weird thing to lie about....he didn't have to give you a reason at all if lease was up.

Exactly fin...we were month to month. Why not just say he wanted to place the house on the market instead? He had asked us before if we were interested in buying the place so I assumed he was looking to sell soon.
He is asking 340K for that place too! I was laughing the entire time reading that listing. Gonna suck for whoever gets suckered into buying that house(unless they are planning on doing a full gut job on the place). He added granite countertops to the already cheap cabinets in the kitchen...yet still kept the fugly 70s looking wall of mirrors

One of my favorite apartments I rented was in the Garden District in Monroe. The bathroom had literally mirrors all over the walls and the tub had a seashell you could sit on and shave your legs. It was fricking awesome. I felt like a fat Aphrodite up in there.
