Boring Nevada route that goes through Vegas or Cali route

once you can get thru L.A., the Ca scenery is actually really nice. I used to drive from L.A. up to Fresno and into Yosemite several times a year. It was never a dull drive. But keep windows rolled up when driving thru garlic growing area.

I mean Old Tyme and Deano's are pushing that time , but as long as I don't have to touch 90 it's not bad.

Most of the drive to Tahoe the Cali way is on the 395. We got off the 10 right near San Bernardino.

Is it during summer or winter?

When they have good snow it's good skiing up there....I've never been when the snow was good

If you are going to Tahoe by way of Sacramento or San Fran, stop on the Cali side at Squaw Valley. They had the 1964 winter Olympics skiing there. Then head over Donner's pass to downtown Tahoe.

It's next week Fin. Same couple we went to Tahoe with last year.

Never been when it was cold there, but it is still very popular to go there in the summer. Place is packed. There is some big golf tournament going on while we will be there.

Please tell me how San Fran is anywhere near Phoenix or on the way from PHX to Tahoe

ETA: Although i bet that way would be very scenic

I currently dont have any plans to go somewhere and watch. Maybe if it was at 7 instead of 6. I will watch most of the second half at home.

I just can't get into soccer. I've tried, but I feel like a traitor to America when I watch it.

Quit being so obtuse.

Im an educated man, but I dont know the travel habits of Private Santiago. Maybe he was an early riser and liked to pack in the morning? Maybe he had friends picking him up at the airport? Maybe he had no friends at all............

Meh, I'm the same way with Tennis...for example, they have the Wimbledon on right now. I wont watch anything until the final or if its the semi's and it nadal/Federer....

just cant get into all of it and follow it. I know plenty of people say they follow it religiously every 4 years, but they don't
