No but really, there is a Scuba thread that gets bumped every so often. Scroll to the last few pages. We discussed some great spots in the Caribbean area last week maybe.

Don't know yet. They still have 2 more applicants to interview(I'm not sure how many total applied and how many of those are internal applicants). I was told I would find something out within 2 weeks.
I think I did well in my interview. And 3 of the nurses in their department are former coworkers of mine that worked with me for several years and all 3 have said they will put in a good word for me....so I hope that helps.

It's like 4 to 5 hours from here to Vegas(just depends on time of day, etc with traffic). Sundays driving back to PHX from Vegas used to SUCK because traffic was at a standstill by Hoover dam from all the people going back. Now with that massive expressway bridge near there it's better.
We are staying at our friend's house. They just moved to Henderson(right outside Vegas) last year and bought a massive house with a really nice pool

I have seen that thread.
Just looking to go outside of the Caribbean. So far my favorite is Palau, but the south pacific takes a while to get to.

Basically pass and don't pass means the shooter will roll their number before a 7 or won't. ODDS are that they won't so the payout on the "don't pass" is way less.
All the other numbers on the board pay out if the shooter rolls it. There are special one roll bets for groups like "The field" or less popular pairs like 6+6 4+4 5+5 "The Hard Ways" etc.
The entire board is wiped when a 7 is rolled. (After the shooter has a point) The only people who win in that case are those on the "Don't Pass" line.
If the shooter rolls say a "6", then goes on a streak of 10-20 rolls without hitting a "7" people will make bank. If the shooter rolls say a "6" everyone bets on him, then immediately throws the "7", just about everyone loses.
It's also important to note that both sides of the table are identical. It's just more space for others to play, so don't feel like you are missing out if you're on one end.

Caribbean is hard to beat man. IMO, crystal clear water is crystal clear whether you fly there in an hour or fly half way around the world. Some species may change depending on the reef but the diversity is so thick, you could do 4 dives on different reefs along Belize and see 4 VERY different ecosystems.
OT will call it trashy but I love cruises for this reason. Hop on a boat in NOLA and I can do 8 dives in 4 different countries in just 7 days. And the price is unbeatable. After I'm back on board, I grab two bottles of wine, sit on the balcony, and watch the sunset as I'm leaving one country headed to the next.
