just read noho's flood story from last year...so sad 
i didn't flood, but aubrey made me get flood insurance with contents a few years ago, and i recently got a whole house generator...i like having as much piece of mind as possible.

I changed out the battery in my lawn tractor this weekend. Only bled twice. Success.

i use a lawn service but i have a fairly new riding mower that i crank up every couple of weeks. i called out the service guy cuz i couldn't start it. when he came to the house he showed me how to use the choke. cranked right up.

couldn't start my portable genny awhile back so i took it to the shop.
step 1---toggle the switch to on
step 2---move lever to choke position
step 3---move fuel line valve to let gas flow
step 4 crank it up

My gas powered blower wouldn't start a while back. Took it to the dealer. Technician took a pencil and cleared the dirt dauber nest out of the exhaust pipe. I felt like a dumbass.

Dude, me and my brothers would collect soda bottles out of ditches and garbage cans, and go to local businesses to get their throwaways. Then we'd put them in a wagon, trek to Pak a Sak (later 7-11), and turn them in for a nickel each. Then we would buy candy like we were Donald Trump.
