I dropped off my dogs this am to the vet for their annual comp exam and teeth cleaning. Going to pick them up in a couple hours. Wonder how "drunk" they will be from all the anesthesia.

don't they have a process now to where they can pretty much just deaden the area and not do full blown anesthesia?

Not for dogs. Who wants the job of trying to hold down an anxious dog and keep their mouth open while another person is trying to use sharp instruments to clean their teeth?
Butters had to have another tooth pulled...we shall see how much that bill is when I go pick him up.
