There will be some extremely "under conditioned" fans at this game for both fan bases. It will be loud with the roof closed up for sure.

No shite. When I heard this, my immediate thought was "how the hell will anybody be able sit up during the game, let alone stand?

...

My second thought was how I really don't want to be on the road on Saturday evening cuz damn.

I think my favorite part of the crowd in '11 was the fact that all of the Oregon fans were in my specific section. The rest of the stadium was P&G

We must have been in the same section. Some Oregon lady was SUPER pissed that my wife and I were cheering, just cheering, for LSU. She got in our face at one point when Oregon had a good play and started clapping at us as if we had been in her grill the whole game. I was not impressed. But it made the win all the sweeter. frick those people.

I'm curious how many Wisconsin fans are making the trip down. I curious if it will be anything like Oregon in '11.

I'd wager maybe 20k tops. Probably closer to 15k. The ones that are there will represent though.

There are fanbases that are proper and prefer a cultured tailgate with nice spreads, flowers on the table, khakis and polos, and nice seats from which they can have a good view and clap when appropriate. TCU is one of those fanbases...UW is not.

I actually really enjoyed hanging out with the Oregon fans before the Rose Bowl a few years ago. Way moreso than the TCU fans.

I'm fairly certain Wisconsin will travel much better than Oregon did. These people are football fanatics, just like us. Doesn't get any more iconic than the Green Bay Packers.

Besides, the two fanbases are different in tastes of partying, Wisconsin more drinkers, like us, Oregon more tokers, remember reading some comments from that fanbase after that game, whether it was just sour grapes or not, they didn't like all the obnoxiousness and such because it ruined their 'buzz' so to speak.

I met some cool Oregon people tailgating. But, during the game they were pissy & silent.

No because most would rather trash a campus while getting hammered at a tailgate and leave at halftime then actually support the team.

So...how can they leave at halftime and THEN go support the team? You mean they go wait for the players to leave after the game? I'm confused.

Hopefully we don't find ourselves in the situation we had up in Seattle when they ran out of liquor.

I'm confused. Are you just restating what I said in the OP or are you somehow disagreeing with it?

I'm with blackjack.

Wisconsin is one of the few fanbases that can hang with us.

I say we kick their arse at their own game.

No?

That's the spirit!

They'll have van fulls of fairly well dressed 'temp help' on hand to clean it all up.
