Here is a picture of the aftermath of the new Grand Bayou breach 2.5 miles north of Mardi Gras Pass from a few days ago. All of the Marsh has been completely destroyed and its now nothing more than a very large mud pit.

at 75,000cfs -> thats 561,037 gallons a second -> which is 2,123,575 liters per second.
So that many liters with 700mg of soil that equates to 1,486,629,798 mg or 1,486,629 grams or 3,277 pounds of sediment.....per second.
So what do you think about this image now?

Or i can go out there and see all the dead oysters and most likely see other things that might have killed them that wasnt the freshwater diversions. 150 years ago there probably was not oyster beds there because the freshwater on the MS kept it rather fresh..... who gives a shite about it being 30 miles from a road.

Can they not spread seed from a plane/helicopter so that something will grow to hold the dirt? Hell, drop a ton of rye grass on there. Better than nothing, and other grasses will fill in
