If he was on duty is there no check in or monitoring of the troopers?

Idk but he is dumb. That dumb teenager who is not white got bail after shooting and killing people at that high school. I guess he forgot about that.

It happened likely just before shift change and was likely instantaneous. Sitting in a lot writing reports is very common in law enforcement. And that he didn’t go out of service at 5a when their shift change occurred and no one following up is likely due to the pursuit and ensuing manhunt. It’s a very sad situation. He was only found when people went looking for him after he didn’t log in for shift that night. I’m not sure if he had family here, but there’s an odd level of understanding that when things like this happen, it becomes all hands on deck and ‘don’t bother me unless it’s emergent’, he very unfortunately got lost in the shuffle.

Guarantee that’s what happened. And I’d imagine since LEO had just laid eyes on him the dogs they sent in weren’t the Bloodhounds they had searching for him earlier in the day.

Or focus on the 0.5% of the bad cops when the overwhelming vast majority are good people. The picture of the trooper reading to the kids got me.
