what do you mean "do not agree" with them?

do you not agree that they are gay? what does that mean?

and it takes "hate" to deny someone a freedom IMO

They say love wins but all I've seen on social media and the news is ugliness and hate from both sides.

Goes both ways..... Gay people are imposing their moral belief on the majority of society en masse as we speak. Lawsuits every day trying to force Christians to do things they believe are wrong (marry them, make them a wedding cake, etc.)

Wait, what are they forcing Christians to do? Forget the dumb cake thing. Who is making Christians marry them in church?

How is this ruling going to hurt you in any way?

And what the thousands of children in foster care that are adopted by gay parents that live exponentially better lives because of it?

Relatively new phenomenon. Time will tell on how many sort out, but I absolutely think it is better than not having parents. This is not relevant at all to the question I asked by the way.

I do think that reproduction is an important part of marriage. It is the natural cycle of life.

do I think some irrational gay couples might? sure, they won't win though

this "some gay couples might sue churches so no gays should be able to get married" belief is fricking retarded

The people who owned the cake baking business will have a hard time doing that.

this isn't why I think they shouldn't get married. I was just saying that you can bet some lawsuits will be filed behind churches refusing a person right to be married.

That homosexual marriage is something that should be acceptable and celebrated

This is complete moral absolutist bullshite in pure form. We deny people the freedom to not pay taxes, steal, harm others, etc. I don't think that means that we hate people that don't pay their taxes....

In the end it boils down to what you believe is wrong and right. Just because I believe you are wrong and should not be allowed to do something I believe is wrong, does not mean I hate you.....

Sure some crazies from all sexual orientations do crazy shite, but they have ZERO shot at winning.

That will never happen. Churches are protected beyond question in their right to believe and practice what they want (obviously shite like human sacrifice not included). That won't ever change.

probably

and?

yes, there are plenty of stupid, piece of shite gay people, just as there are straight people

but there are also plenty of normal, rational, level headed gay people who just want to live like the rest of us

but we don't punish a whole based off a few bad people, or at least we shouldn't

You don't have to accept it or celebrate it.

You believe its wrong from a religious stand point, correct? I am not saying you hate them, but I'm saying that religion shouldn't dictate the law.

It's such a total BS argument. Priests and Pastors have never had to perform a ceremony for anyone. They can say say no. They do it to straight people. They can do it to gay people. Nothing is changing! And gay people will do the same thing straight people do, and find someone who will perform the ceremony.

That is my point! This phrase seems to insinuate that you "hate" if you do not.... thanks for helping me make it.

From a natural and religious perspective, yes. I do agree that religion can not dictate law. However, morality and right and wrong always have. I believe it is wrong, outside of religion, and absolutely should not be sanctioned by the Federal government, especially dictated to the states.

All of this arguing is stupid, it happened and people should just deal with it.

The majority of the country is for it. They are just getting marriage licenses at the court house. They aren't going into the local church and getting married if they don't want them.

No one will be hurt and life will go on.

How so?

Don't say its not natural. Several species in nature have homosexual members.
