Louisiana vehicle tax credit on trade ins.

Is this still a thing or did they go away with it a few years ago?

Still a thing. The state did start taxing rebates on manufacturer rebates a couple years ago, but trade-ins kept full credit.

Try this guy, John Clay Wolfe, he's legit and will buy your vehicle for more than the dealership while still keeping your credit. He works w/ most dealers around the south. He bought ours a year ago and contacted the dealer and we got the trade credit.
