From miscreants committing felonies and destroying families and communities to festivals in what, 90 years? Its high time that meth and crack are both recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit in the same way liquor distilling has been. Pot is already well on its way. Gambling is about as mainstream as mainstream gets. In another 100 years meth, crack and prostitution will be viewed as festival worthy. Hopefully it won't take 100 years and we come to our senses and celebrate entrepreneurialism with festivals and reality TV shows.

Kentucky makes great moonshine. Has anyone else tried it and if so, how does it compare to Louisana white lightening?

This sounds like cultural appropriation to me. Moonshine is our drink. I kid, I kid.
We’re talking about the region of Louisiana that has no true identity. They aren’t south Louisiana they aren’t north Louisiana. Identity crisis?

It’s impossible for something to be the “first annual.” For something to be annual, there has to be at least two. The correct term for the first one would be “inaugural.”
You think the people putting together the LA Moonshine Festival in Leesville know that?
