Sure you can. It's a shitty law accompanied by draconian sanctions.

Then get them changed. Until then, don't bitch about getting in trouble if you break them.

Still doesn't add up to 20 years for me. His priors are equal to what 70% of this board did in college. No robberies, no gang bangin....

It's not a matter of a dumb law, it's knowing that there is a law, breaking a law you knew was there, then getting mad

So if you got arrested for getting a blow job from your SO, you wouldn't be mad? Because oral sex is against the law.

It is to me. For the longest time it was illegal for homosexuals to have sex with one another. They shouldn't have had the right to be pissed about getting arrested?

One thing getting caught breaking a law.
Speeding is breaking the law and putting others in harms way.
Smoking pot harms no one but the user. Both are illegal.
One gets you a ticket. Hey caught speeding multiple times and you pay.
Get caught with pot multiple times and you can lose years of your life in prison. Makes no sense. I get the laws, it's the sentencing that it's the real problem.

Ever crossed state lines with a woman you're not married to and had sex with her?

If yes, you're a criminal.

The risk I knowingly took before marriage. It's not an issue now

Huh? We shouldn't bitch about a law until after it gets changed? Sounds like a good plan.

So no one is supposed to question bad laws because well, that's just the law? Our government, corporations, media are known truth spinners and liars. It takes researching for yourself to know that the propaganda created by our government, media and money interests regarding marijuana safety is nothing more than scare tactics to protect the money flow. Whether it be to pharmaceutical companies, the private prison industry, law enforcement agencies etc. Sadly, the best way to understand the creation of most laws today is to simply follow the money.

60% of them African Americans and over 84% for possession only. Yet Louisiana's population is only 32% Black. This disparity makes it the 9th most discriminatory state nationwide.
this just means black people get caught smoking pot more.
