More and more cops are just ended up being thugs with badges. How many more innocent people or animals need to be killed before we start holding these POS thugs responsible? Sure some cops are being held responsible, but most of them are not. Most of them get a paid leave and usually have the support of the police department, regardless of the video evidence. Where are all the good cops at? Why won't yall stand up for what a real cop means? Now the cops are here to protect and serve the highest bidder, usually the gov't or big corporations.

yeh for tax purposes maybe or to prove they have an income. Doesn't mean they will be willing to take the financial hit without looking for other ways to make up the difference...stealing, robbing, etc. Point is they will still be criminals and get arrested.

The average dealer doesn't get wealthy. They work, use and sell to subsidize their use

Most street level drug dealers actually earn less than minimum wage.

Most blacks are not racist. But they do commit most of the crime in Baton Rouge against each other. It's sad that there are certain areas in Baton Rouge you just can't venture into after dark without fear of getting shot. You don't see those types of things in white areas of town. But the white race has a bunch of stupid people that just commit less violent crimes.

I have no problems with less stringent drug laws. I was arguing against the notion that we're full of happy go lucky potheads in Angola, Hunt and DCI.

We will still have burglaries because the same people who can't afford drugs now will still not be able to afford them if they are legal. There will still be robberies and murders.

So just to be clear, you think there will be just as many murders and crime in general from drug deals going bad, turf wars, and the black market even after legalization?

Was he gunned down by republicans or correctional officers or the CIA? Democrats, maybe, but not party officials.

You are correct on that. The negatives of the war on drugs are a lot more complicated than having a bunch of harmless por heads behind bars for long periods of time.

Louisiana= Dirty politics, high sentences for non-violent offenders and a horrible economy.
