Also Texas has problems with actual energy generation and Swepco in north la is in same situation. Entergy probably as well depending on where they source their energy some of their system runs to the arkansas line. Some gas plants have frozen, wind is offline, and solar panels are covered in snow. That equaled with higher loads has equaled rolling outages. Add in ice and tree limbs going down and I don’t see how people can’t comprehend the issues here.

Dude it will be above freezing where I’m at for at least 5 hours. That’s plenty of time to get the ice to melt off the lines.....

As long as the sun is out it will melt some ice even if it's below freezing. Solar radiation will melt ice even if the temperature won't.

I wish I had gas for my water heater and heating unit.... it’s way more efficient and saves tons of money.

I have a best friend that also post here whose hot water line froze in his attic and he had to thaw it this morning. Not making fun of you bruh, you bought the house like that

The streets in BR are in good condition. Not sure about I-10 but everything else looks good. It’s actually enjoyable to drive around and see everything fro one for a change.

A small portion of my patio melted in the very brief sunlight we had yesterday. Not a cloud in the sky today. Hopefully the roads can thaw. I’m out of beer
