Louisiana hotel industry hemorrhages more than 49K jobs amid coronavirus pandemic

It’s temporary losses. Businesses will lay off employees then hire them back when it’s over. It will rebound but I can’t say the same for the loss of life.

It's why unemployment needs to be expanded for this issue. Although going and applying can be very tough. Humbling.

This will take years to recover from in certain industries. Years. If ever. You can pretend everything will be bounce back to normal, but it won’t. This is biblical.

Also they can get unemployment until business gets back to normal. It’s not ideal but sometimes business owners have to make tough decisions to save business.

Who knows? Maybe he's right and the whole country can shut down for 2-6 weeks every year.

May be a nice annual vacation we've stumbled onto here.
