Are they going to let “I want a test just because” people have one? I personally would like the antibody test when available. I work in a nursing home and would like to see my people but know I’m safe to do it (consultant working from home at this time). I miss them — well most of them
***caution*** free opinion from the internet:
I’d think that they would concentrate on highly suspected cases/highly susceptible individuals/first responders and healthcare workers that work in direct contact. Then branch out from there. I’d like to have it tested, my staff too, but we will probably have to wait till late summer for something of those number to be available.
That 5 minute test is supposedly going to produce 1 million tests in the first month. That isn’t a whole lot for the group I just mentioned, but it’s a start. I’d have to believe that the company is working with others to help in production and will produce over that 1 million mark in the first month as it makes sense morally and practically to spread production around.
When shite hits the fan, it can be fairly amazing what America can produce in time and numbers
