I never know whether to upvote or downvote threads like this.
May your aunt rest in peace. I had a favorite great aunt with whom I had a similar relationship.
Aunts are special.

the home where I work has had 4 deaths so far with ~75% of residents testing positive so far and I think 6 in the hospital.
seems common.
after Washington state one would hope that staff were all in ppe and take temp at home.
i bet not.
seems like murder in a way.
im with the guy who would like to make it 91 but i can tell you i wont even set foot in a nursing home if i want to see 90.

Sorry for your loss. Death is never fun regardless of how it happens.

I'm sorry that your aunt died. Even at 91, she could have had several more good years. And I hope you and your family are able to grieve and give her the last respects that it sounds like she deserves.

I’m sorry for your loss. This is really rough for those who have loved ones in nursing homes and such. My MIL is 94 and we can’t even visit her.
Truthfully, I wonder how much isolation is affecting those in nursing homes. I mean, at that age, if I have no support group (loved ones) to see me, then what's the point in fighting? I've seen multiple examples of when one spouse passes, the other one passes very soon.
