I literally can't recal the last time I saw an article about a group of teens/gangsters/thugs randomly beating or assaulting people that weren't of the darker skin tone.

If you did it would be the MSM's lead story for weeks, there would be riots, protests, and all sorts of wailing and gnashing of teeth. Campuses would be shut down, statues brought down, and streets renamed. Obama would probably cry on TV again as well.
