I thought about setting up a table outside Walmart like the girl scouts do and selling them for about $50 a pack.

The Texas governor insulted the Facebook inspired panic shoppers and hoarders in his address to the public at lunch today. He pointed out how stupid it is to be buying out the stores since this is not a hurricane or flood and fully loaded trucks will continue to bring supplies just like always.

That's like a friend of mine who is in one of my text groups. She can't think anymore since the facebook crisis got ahold of her.

We were talking about the idiocy of panic shopping. She says well I bought the last 4 cases of water the store had. Someone asked her "don't you have a filtered water and ice dispenser on your refrigerator and a dispensers at work?"

She said yes, but someone had pointed out on FB that if the water employees or MUD district employees in Houston get sick and can't go to work the water could become contaminated.

So the person told her if that happens you can simply boil faucet water. She never repied again. The guy texted me and maybe everybody individually that he can picture her staring at her 4 cases of water wondering whether to return them to the store or try to sell them in the parking lot. It was pretty damn funny at the time. I could envision it also.
