Custom is a special type of procedure that not only corrects myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism but also something called higher order aberrations. In my opinion I don't think it is necessary for most patients.

Insurance doesn't cover it, but some vision plans offer a discount.

Dr Dan is my baw. Been knowing him since I was about a week old (31 years, 11 months, and two weeks). Those GD women in there are always trying to get me to buy glasses though

Just had LASEK at Eyecare Assoc. Dr Sumich did mine as well. $995 per eye. Procedure was painless. Recovery was minimal. My vision is 20/20 now. I definitely recommend
