5 pairs of Alden shoes, one of which is an Indy boot. Of the 5, a pair of Alden's is worn nearly everyday. They are very comfortable and will last a lifetime.

I know. I don't need dress boots. I am a contractor and need something for "working in" AKA walking around job sites but don't want true work boots like Redwings or something. I usually wear sneakers for that but during the winter sites are too muddy and wet.

Cole Haan's are comfortable but won't last very long. I have a pair of Ecco loafers that are great. I also recommend Zelli loafers if you're willing to fork over the cash... They are hand made in Italy and you can get them in peccary, lizard, ostrich, alligator etc.
