we're almost at the point where it's impossible for an average person to understand if they're even being offensive.

That's pretty much the point of all this. They like to talk about the "societal power dynamic" and this is how they're able to gain power over others

These people are nuts. They want affordable housing in the most regulated housing market and still hate people trying to build

ReasonTV did a piece on this. A guy in the mission district wanted to convert his property into apartments but the city council tried to road block him at every turn because they said that basically they don't want more white people in the currently Hispanic area. He spent millions of dollars fighting it over several years. They even said that his proposed building would cast too much shade on an adjacent school which would violate some sort of "children's health" law. So naturally it became a "think of the children" campaign.

They have a massive housing shortage and the current mayor campaigned on the housing issue, but they pretty much refuse any applications for new construction because they don't want more upper class white people in the city.

the truth is that San Francisco residents like the way the city looks and they dont want it to turn into midtown Houston apartment farm.

Most of the people complaining about the housing market are commuters that’s cant vote in local elections

From what I gather, the people complaining the most are the super left wingers who think every bum should have a free apartment in the most expensive city in the hemisphere

Damn, those trans poc sound like racist pos. They think the color of someones skin disqualifies them for running for a seat. The mental gymnastics required to justify that shite to yourself is impressive

Building apartment complexes wouldn’t help the homelessness

The people that wan to deregulate are building for 80k range that are priced out of the city.
